This is a book ranking socio-economic positions of the provinces by individual specific indicators within the region and the country over the three time points 2000, 2005, 2010.
The book includes the following main parts:
I. The major socio-economic indicators of Vietnam in the first 10 years of the 21st century;
II. Vietnam’s ranks by a number of socio-economic indicators in the Southeast Asia;
III. Ranking socio-economic indicators of 63 provinces, cities;
IV. Introductions of the provinces themselves.
Through the calculating percentage and ranking specific socio-economic indicators of each province within the region and nationwide, the book will help agencies and readers: 1) Identify the position, potentials and strengths of each province; 2) Determine the socio-economic current status and contribution of each province to the process of socio-economic construction and development of the region and nationwide; 3) From the changes in percentages and ranks of provinces over the three time points 2000, 2005, 2010, readers will identify the socio-economic dynamics, as well as the development of each province in each specific area; And finally, 4) The book will help readers find the position of each province in the development process of the region and the country.
